The history of Sapori Antichi begins in 2016, after the acquisition of the company by Federico Soldati.
The company, based in Villa Santina (Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy) is specialized in the production of flavoured pasta, and is a synonym of high-quality product in Italy and abroad.

Within a short period, under his guidance, the company has quickly changed its mission with a more global vision: bring these high-quality products, naturally flavoured without the addition of chemical colorants, to the largest possible number of consumers.

Nestled in the beautiful setting of the Alps in the north-western part of the province of Udine, on the border between Austria and Veneto, there is a unique area rich in history, tradition and culture. It is a place where nature has always played a leading role.

This magical territory is called Carnia.

Here in Carnia, there is a unique atmosphere. In this area, the not-so-high mountains and the relative proximity to the Adriatic Sea are two fundamental elements that contribute to a distinctive climate, with no noticeable changes in temperature. Even the water for our pasta dough comes from the springs in this area. In Carnia, we are jealously bound to our traditions, especially the culinary ones!

Some recipes date back to the mists of time and are handed down from generation to generation. At the same time, we live in a borderland that has always clashed with profoundly different cultures, adopting new colours, flavours and scents.
